CCIM Institute (CCIM) is commercial real estate’s most influential professional organization, with members closing $200 billion annually in commercial real estate deals. For 50 years, the Institute has been building opportunities through its respected education program, led by established practitioners. CCIM Institute members are eligible to earn the CCIM designation, the industry’s most prestigious certification.
The CCIM designation is conferred upon commercial real estate leaders who have a proven record of success in the field and have demonstrated a mastery of financial, market, and investment analysis. CCIM designees come from a variety of professional backgrounds including brokerage, banking, property management, law, and accounting.
The Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) is an international community of real estate managers dedicated to ethical business practices, maximizing the value of investment real estate, and promoting superior management through education and information sharing.

The National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM®) provides resources for residential property management professionals who desire to learn, grow, and build relationships. NARPM® is the premiere professional association designed for real estate professionals who know first-hand the unique challenges of managing single-family and small residential properties. We offer an effective, professional learning environment for owners of property management companies and their employees.
The NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® (NAR) strives to be the collective force influencing and shaping the real estate industry. It seeks to be the leading advocate of the right to own, use, and transfer real property; the acknowledged leader in developing standards for efficient, effective, and ethical real estate business practices; and valued by highly skilled real estate professionals and viewed by them as crucial to their success.
Working on behalf of America’s property owners, the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® provides a facility for professional development, research and exchange of information among its members and to the public and government for the purpose of preserving the free enterprise system, and the right to own, use, and transfer real property.
The Washington State Commercial Association of REALTORS® (WSCAR) is a professional trade association dedicated to serving the interests of commercial/investment real estate professionals throughout the state and to enhance the profitability and professionalism of its members by offering pertinent real estate information, education, legislative advocacy, networking opportunities, a code of ethics and discounts on useful business tools and services.
Members of WSCAR are also members of Washington REALTORS®, and the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), the largest trade organization in the world. Members also have access to an array of dynamic programs and comprehensive services designed to enhance your real estate career.
The Commercial Brokers Association (CBA) is a member owned cooperative providing commercial real estate multiple listing services to its members since 1977. CBA is committed to the mission of providing members with current commercial listing information and to help increase their productivity. Members share a philosophy of ongoing communication and cooperation and are represented by a voluntary Board of Directors.
CBA's Research Staff gathers information on all available office, industrial and retail space in buildings that meet our research standards in eight Washington and Oregon counties. CBA's custom designed website is continuously updated by members as well as CBA's Research staff. Our user-friendly program is fully optimized across all technological platforms.
CBAcma, our Commercial Market Analysis product, is another tool available to CBA members - consisting of researched commercial property sales over $250,000 in eight Washington and Oregon counties.
In keeping with the ever-changing legalities of the industry, CBA also provides a Forms Library for our members' use. These forms have been carefully prepared by the Association's legal counsel and are the commercial industry standard.
CBA also provides education and networking opportunities for the commercial brokerage community, giving members access to clock hour classes to fulfill their licensing requirement, as well as forums to meet and make deals with their fellow brokers.
The Northwest Multiple Listing Service (NWMLS) provides superior products and applications to simplify your real estate transactions, including the MLS listing database, tax information for every county in Washington State, electronic forms and the electronic signature service. Northwest Multiple Listing Service is a not-for-profit, member-owned organization of over 28,000 real estate professionals, governed by our elected Board of Directors. We provide superior systems, products, and services for the technologically savvy real estate industry in the Pacific Northwest.
